Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease
This pic is hard to see, but Owen did have a few tiny blisters on his feet (you can see a small red dot towards his heel on the right-hand side)
This was toward the end of the blisters......they were starting to crust over, but were on both hands on his fingers and thumbs
The beginning of the blisters around his mouth....you can see them starting to form below his lip and they kind of looked like pimples at their worst

Just thought I would post some pics and a link to information from the CDC on Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease for any of you moms out there whose children haven't ever had the disease (which is a virus). Owen had the virus in late October and had a pretty mild case, but his cousin Treyten had it pretty bad and had a hard time eating for a couple of days, so it definitely affects all children differently. Just thought I would share what I know about it since there appears to be a Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease epidemic once every 3 years and most children under 10 will have it at some point in their childhood. Most children will have it once, develop immunity to it, and never have it again thank goodness!
